Rio Reventazon Rafting

My husband and I had the opportunity to visit Costa Rica in 2009.  We chose to participate in white water rafting down the Reventazon River.  This was one of the most memorable excursions we have been on in the Caribbean.  We rafted down the Florida section, how ironic!  It is Class III (not that I knew what that meant at the time, but now I do)  It was safe yet lots of fun.  We got soaked, tossed around, and laughed a lot.  Our guide even let us go down one section of the rapids backwards.  The hour long trip was refreshing, exhilarating, and a new experience for us.  After the rafting trip, they brought us back to the headquarters for a traditional Costa Rican lunch.  It was delicious!  I would highly recommend this for anyone that has a thirst for adventure in one the the most lush tropical countries in Central America.
