Best of Cartagena
My husband and I took this tour to get an idea of what all the major landmarks in town were. I would suggest that only people with a high tolerance for heat, humidity, mosquitoes, and walking take this specific tour. We saw many historical buildings with a lot of great information. Even in the middle of November it was hotter and more humid than any day I have ever felt in South Florida. I would suggest that people choose one specific landmark to explore rather than this group tour. We were able to see the Fort of San Felipe de Barajas, in which I wish we had longer than 10 minutes to see, Inquisition Palace, Las Bovedas (The Dungeons) for some handicraft shopping and the Church of San Pedro Claver. I am fairly certain that we walked for 2 hours of the 3 and 1/2 hour tour.
