The other night my husband and I were talking about all the travels we've done over the years. We were discussing our cruise for next year and how it will be very different because we're going to have both a baby and preschooler on our hands! Yes, that's right we've got #2 on the way. That led us in to the debate over what's more difficult, traveling with a baby or traveling with a toddler/preschooler! We overwhelmingly agreed that traveling with a baby was MUCH easier. I know that so many people think that a baby is a handful while on vacation, but truthfully they are easier. They don't talk or talk back, haha. They will easily sit in a stroller or body carrier and you can wear throughout your vacation. A toddler is hard to baby wear and they often don't want their strollers anymore at that age. They want their independence and to walk, albeit much slower than the pace you might have in mind! Toddlers can be all over the place and you'll spend more time accommodating their needs than most babies.
