Aruba

A little known fact about Aruba, it's a desert!  When many people hear Aruba they think of beautiful beaches, palm trees, sparkling blue waters, etc.  It definitely has all that, but the majority of this small island in the Southern Caribbean is a desert!

Aruba offers a lot of beach-y options like:
  • snorkeling & scuba diving
  • windsurfing
  • fishing
  • kayaking
But to see the REAL Aruba, I recommend:
  • private tour of the island
  • 1/2 day off-road Jeep tour
  • full day off-road Jeep tour

Wariruri Bay, Aruba

1/2 day off-road Jeep tour

This tour took us to nearly every inch of the island.  We saw the Ayo Rock, Natural Bridge, California Lighthouse, Alto Vista Chapel, drove through miles of dusty desert bumping along, and finished off by spending an hour at a beautiful beach.  It was a 5 hour tour, not bad for being classified and the "1/2" version. We were more than satisfied.  My husband still proclaims this to be his favorite excursion of all our Caribbean tours.
