Anchorage & Whittier or Seward

Many Northbound and Southbound Alaskan cruises originate in Whittier or Seward, Alaska.  The nearest airport for these two cities is Anchorage.  If you are sailing Southbound (from Anchorage/Whittier/Seward to Vancouver, British Colombia) I suggest flying in the day before, settling in to a nice hotel room in Anchorage and explore town that evening.
Wake up refreshed (as best you can with a time change) and head over the the railroad depot.  There are trains that leave in the morning that bring you through the scenic route to these two beautiful cities where you can meet your ship just before noon.  Don't worry, we've done this.  We can coordinate the entire trip for you with seamless precision.
The train will stop right in front of your ship for easy access.  Your luggage will already be on-board your ship because it was handled back in Anchorage at the train depot.

The Reverse

Does your cruise start in Vancouver and end in Anchorage?  That's okay.  Rail service is still an option.  You can spend the day in Seward or Whittier doing a glacier tour or land tour, then hop on the evening train back to Anchorage!
